(Fuswilath) 41 : 51

And when We bestow favor upon humans, he tends to turn aside and aloof; and when an evil afflicts him, he involves in prolonged prayer.

This verse depicts the character of the ungrateful human. When he gets a blessing from the Lord, he lives as he wishes without showing gratitude as if he got it by his own ability and he deserves it. But if any evil afflicts him by his own mistake, then he is involved in prolonged prayer to remove that evil from him. But he will not fulfill two conditions to accept the prayer by understanding that the prayer of those who don’t transform their Jinn soulmate into a believer won’t increase anything except astray as explained in verses 2: 186 and 40: 50. See explanation 4: 78-79; 10: 12; 30: 35-36.
